While you might not know it from the temperatures, which reached 60 again this weekend, it is almost time for the annual picture contest. We have a picture contest on the blog, to get through the winter.
I am in the process of going through the pictures for the year, getting down to the 48 pictures to put out there for the 12 weeks, starting about December 1.
I really do have a great set of pictures. To give you some idea of the quality this year, here are two rejects.
So sharpen those pencils. Alert your friends. The Picture Contest is coming.
I will bid farewell to the fall with this picture of our daughter Maggie’s car, which was parked under a ginkgo tree.

See you soon.
Philip

looking forward to it, as always.
Is it too late to plant bulbs?
Judith.
If you can dig a hole in the ground you can plant bulbs. Sometimes there are even bulb sales.
I have planted a bunch of crocuses this last week.
I love participating in the picture contest and look forward to it starting. Thanks!
